Update

Success!! Sourav and I went to St. Luke's hospital today and had our first appointment with one of the midwives there. Their model is different. They have 7 midwives with 24/7 birth and labor coverage with 3 OB's used as back up only. The hospital is set up more like a natural birth center offering birthing stools, tubs, and futons on the floor. They do all fetal monitoring with a hand held monitor only a few times an hour which doesn't limit your position or mobility, highly increasing your chances of having a naturally progressing labor. The midwives are very hands off and genuinely believe that birth is a natural process that your body knows how to do.
We left feeling happy and content with our choice of providers. I felt more at ease in an hour with our new midwife than I have in 30 weeks with our old practice. It seems we have finally found a great fit for us and I feel more positive and excited about the birth.
Among other mistakes and flaws from our previous care, it seems they got my due date wrong. Our new midwife reviewed my records closely and changed my due date to January 17, a whole week earlier! This is what we first thought, and it was confirmed with my first ultrasound. It was later changed by one of the doctor's based on a second ultrasound. So my new official due date is January 17 ( although I think this little man will come out when he is ready, whatever date that may be :) )
We have 2 doula interviews this weekend and are excited about getting our birth team together. I am feeling great and the baby is kicking as usual! The weather is beautiful here this weekend and we may try to do a little pregnancy photo shoot at the beach, so check back for some more pictures of my growing belly!
